The trek along the Everest Base Camp is not only a trek to the Everest Region but also a great opportunity to capture the incredible beauties of Khumbu region from the view point called Kalapathar (5,550m). You can have spectacular view of world’s highest mountain Mt Everest (8848m) along with other eights thousanders including Mt. Lhotse , Mt Makalu and Mt Cho Oyu from the Everest base camp but for the best view of these mountains you have to climb up little to Kalapathhar. Along with the mountain views, this trek also helps you to know about the living style of the world famous, successful and bravest climbers- The Sherpas. On the other hand, you can spend some time in Sagarmatha National Park watching the beautiful floras and faunas protected in the national park. The trek does not end up here; you can furthermore visit the local villages, many monasteries, enjoy the peculiar landscapes and the hospitality of Sherpas.

Trip Itinerary:-

Day 01 : Kathmandu arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 02 : Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding.

Day 03 : Trek to Namche

Day 04 : Acclimatization day.

Day 05 : Trek to Tengboche.

Day 06 : Trek to Pheriche.

Day 07 : Exploration day.

Day 08 : Trek to Lobuche.

Day 09 : Trek to Everest Base Camp and overnight at Gorekhshpe.

Day 10 : Trek to Pheriche via Kalapatthar.

Day 11 : Trek to Namche.

Day 12 : Trek to Lukla.

Day 13 : Fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 14 : Departure day.

Typical Day

Normally, we will walk 5/6 hours every day while on the trek which starts around 7:30am after hot breakfast. We will take a break for lunch between 12:00-1:00 pm, which may take about one and half hour. After our lunch we continue our trek to reach the today’s destination.

We supply dinner at 7:30 pm. Warm dining rooms are available for dinner and serve fresh fruits after dinner every evening during the trek.

Age range, type of group

Trekkers should be physically fit and mentally prepared to complete this trek. And travel insurance is required in case of emergency helicopter evacuation. Age between 10 – 65 years olds are accepted. Kids or children should be accompanied by their parents.

We arrange this trek for groups of family, friends, colleagues and couple, individual. Small group departure and private departure are available.

Sleeping and meals
2 nights double occupancy accommodation at star hotel category in Kathmandu city which includes bed and breakfast.

Twin sharing accommodation at local lodges for overnight stay including full board meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) with hot tea or coffee as per your choice everyday during the trek. Continental, Chinese, Nepali and Indian menu foods will be served.

Restrictions
No any restriction are on gender and smoking for this trek but we always suggest our guest don’t smoke while you are on high altitude treks in Nepal Himalayan region, if you don’t at least try to reduce.

Rates
Starting price USD 1000.00 per person on the basis of 10 people in a group.
Private group tour cost USD 1150:00 per person minimum of 2 people in a group
For individual or solo trekker cost USD 1450.00
